A little about me

Over the past decade, I've built campaigns, led organizations, and raised over $20 million for causes I believe in, all in service of a single goal: building a North Carolina where prosperity and opportunity are available to everyone.

I thrive in the heat of the moment. Whether I'm running an issue advocacy campaign, navigating a competitive election, or turning a blank-slate organization into a functioning operation, I'm drawn to problems that are urgent, tangible, and solvable. I think of myself less as a fundraiser and more as someone who builds relationships, identifies opportunities, and helps organizations move from where they are to where they need to be.

I'm currently completing an Executive Master of Public Affairs at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy, which has sharpened the way I think about the policy problems that sit underneath the political work I do every day.

I live proudly and unapologetically in Cary, NC with my partner Marjorie.
